How Much Will Legalized Sports Gambling Hurt The Mob?

New Jersey's going to have legalized sports betting in a matter of weeks; Pennsylvania, in a matter of months.

With the U.S. Supreme Court clearing the way for sports gambling everywhere, reporters George Anastasia and Dave Schratwieser examine the impact the loss of gambling revenues will have on the mob. First, the government stole the numbers racket, and now this.

Just remember, when you place bets with your bookie, you don't have to pay taxes.

  1. Where is the moral outrage from all the civil libertarians when the Scotus hands down a decision that will handicap imperil and destroy many families?

This is another example of a malignancy of government to mandate a decision that supports the addictions of society, who once penalized and relentlessly pursued bookmakers and gamblers alike, until financial analysts persuaded jurists that the government needs to further its descent as the bastion of Organized Crime.

How will the integrity of sporting events be protected from illegal tampering and fixing of the outcome by Media Networks, Ownership and Management of Teams, and Casino Betting Parlors who are unfairly rewarded if this decision is upheld?

The Oligarchs we should bring down are not the Russians but are the American Billionaires who stand to gain from this outrageous Court Decision.

It's pathetically humorous that Mr. Anastasia, who enriched himself over the years recounting the exploits of career criminals, has few words to say about the Government licensing criminal activity as long as they gain a greater share without the cost of prosecuting the billionaire racketeers.
