Skinny Joey Vs. The Feds: Headed For A Rematch

In the latest episode of Mob Talk Sitdown, veteran crime reporters George Anastasia and Dave Schratwieser do some forecasting on whether reputed Philadelphia mob boss "Skinny Joey" Merlino faces a rematch with the feds, in the aftermath of his mistrial in Manhattan.

The odds are that he does, Anastasia says.

That's because the numbers both reporters are hearing from the secret jury deliberations in the big East Coast mob trial in federal court strongly favor the government.

So let's get ready to do it again. In the meantime, tune in to the latest episode of Mob Talk Sitdown.

  1. Mob Talk Radio has made some very strong accusations regarding Fed Informant Rubeo and GA. Is this another example of how the DOJ enriches Authors and liars to frame defendants and pollute a jury pool?
Rubeo testified that he received over 1/2 million dollars from the Feds while setting up Merlino before he collaborates with GA on another work of tantalizing organized crime fiction.

  11. The fact is that anyone of these guys who wants to stay out of prison will let Joey be the target for the feds. He wants it, and guys like Chang, Mazzone, and I believe Natducci are happy to make their money, run their businesses and let skinny take the heat. Until he gets what is tantamount to a life sentence, or dies then joey will remain the figure head of philly LCN

  13. Phil Narducci is the man, I was locked up with him at FDC Phili in 2017 when he was there on a probation violation, we were eating breakfast one morning together in 7 South and he was complaining that FDC Phili was too boring of a jail because there were not enough stabbings and killings to keep it "fun." Tell Phil his pal from spaghetti park queens NY (the commission) says hello. Good things in 2020
